The anticipation on Twitter
The manufacturer from Gaydon provides us with a preview of the front of the next V12 Vantage through an almost "harmless" post on Instagram, where the future twelve-cylinder sports car is placed next to the previous sports cars worthy of that acronym.
It will be an almost certainly limited edition, thanks to the presence of a twelve-cylinder turbo instead of the now well-known 4.0 V8 AMG that equips the current Vantage. The same 5.2 V12 biturbo can be found on the more impressive DBS Superleggera (725 hp), the DB11 (630 hp) and the V12 Speedtser (700 hp), which in turn uses a revised Vantage platform.
Overwhelming roar of the engine
Without revealing any detail relating to the aesthetic and technical characteristics of the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage on the launch pad, the British manufacturer offers us an auditory preview through the video teaser above, totally dedicated to the powerful and engaging roar of the engine , with the return of the twelve-cylinder engine (this time turbo), ready once again to seduce enthusiasts with the unmistakable and deafening roar of Aston Martin.
Credits on the model, in the background there is already the 100% electric heir
What will be the last V12 Vantage will collect a prestigious legacy of a model that began its history in 1999 with the DB7 Vantage, continued with the V12 Vantage launched in 2009, passed through the V12 Vantage S in 2013, up to the model currently on the market. In the future, in 2025, the V12 Vantage will be replaced in the Aston Martin range with a new all-electric coupe.
